About Us
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is not just a programme, it is a journey that one makes with the Catholic community in search of God. It is open both to Catholics and non-Catholics — and a good way to study/strengthen one’s faith.
Tasks & Practices
Some of the topics covered during each RCIA period include, but are not limited to the following:–
- God;
- Father;
- Trinity;
- Jesus;
- Holy Spirit;
- Mary;
- Communion of Saints;
- Popes;
- Church Councils;
- Church History;
- Bible;
- Sacraments.
Furthermore, we have days of prayer and retreat. As we believe in the spirit of balance, there will also be days of fun and fellowship. After RCIA, your life will never be the same again!
Session Details
The RCIA journey is open to non-Catholics, baptised Christians and newly-baptised Catholics. Sessions take place at 8pm in St. Joachim’s Hall (Level 4) every Tuesday, preceded by 15 minutes of Praise and Worship at 7:45pm. The upcoming run, for Baptism at Easter 2027, will begin with The Search (3 February to 24 March) and commence properly on 7 April.

In RCIA, we aim to be an opportunity for Catholics to rediscover the beauty and heritage of their faith. For non-Catholics, our weekly sessions present an in-depth study of Catholicism with no obligation to be baptised.
As baptism is a deeply personal commitment to Jesus, no one will be forced into it. Each individual can make that choice when they are ready.
"Go, therefore, make disciples of all the nations; baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
Matthew 28:19
