About Us
St. Anne’s Faith Community was founded in 2013 to retain and encourage post-confirmation youths to continue their faith journey with their graduating cohort. In line with Cardinal William Goh’s 10-year evangelisation plan, our ministry was formed to create a safe space where post-confirmands can gather, pray, learn, bond and build their faith life, following the example of the early Christian communities.
Over the years, the Faith Community has been under the spiritual direction of various priests and adult mentors. It currently consists of 10 communities and counting, including:–
- Alpha XIII;
- Fiden XV;
- anCORa XVI;
- Ignis XVI;
- Veritas;
- Signum Amoris;
- L12s;
- L11s;
- L10s;
- Hosea (young working adults).
After Confirmation, a new community for each specific batch is formed so that they can continue growing in discipleship together with their peers.
Roles & Responsibilities
We want to imitate Jesus and the early Christian communities by providing a space to allow the Holy Spirit to touch the lives of young Catholics in our parish. We want more young people to experience Jesus and receive a ‘love and peace that this world cannot give’, so that they too will also share Jesus with others.
Tasks & Practices
The Faith Community carries out its mission by forming and nurturing post-confirmation youth communities where young Catholics can continue their journey of faith together. This involves establishing and supporting distinct cohorts for each graduating confirmation batch, facilitating regular gatherings for prayer, faith sharing, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Leaders and adult mentors coordinate community meetings and activities that foster a deeper understanding of Catholic teaching, encourage mutual support, and build relationships rooted in the example of the early Christian communities.

Salvation is personal, but not private! We cannot carry on this faith alone — we need companions on this pilgrimage of life. Even the Holy Trinity consists of three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus chose twelve apostles to accompany Him on His earthly journey. They were a community that prayed, ate, travelled and stayed together. Like the early life of the apostles, this is the aim of St. Anne’s Faith Community, where we cultivate opportunities for service and witness within the parish, helping members live out their faith through love and selfless service as they support one another and invite others into a life-long discipleship journey.
