About Us
The Communications Ministry at St. Anne’s Church exists to help connect, inform, and inspire parishioners through effective use of the Church’s communication tools and platforms. We maintain the parish’s digital presence, including social media and the website, and support the promotion of parish and ministry events. Our team also assists with photography and marketing efforts, gathering parishioner feedback to ensure that communications are relevant and engaging. Through these efforts, we seek to strengthen parish unity, deepen faith awareness, and share the joy of the Gospel within and beyond our community.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Engaging our parishioners and followers online via our social media platforms and channels,
- Promoting the latest and upcoming parish and ministry events,
- Maintaining and troubleshooting the Church’s website and room-booking system,
- Creating and sourcing good, relevant content to share on our platforms,
- Gathering and communicating feedback from parishioners,
- Assisting with Marketing & Public Relations efforts, and
- Producing footage and maintaining an archive of major Church events.
Tasks & Practices
The Communications Ministry carries out its work through the planning, coordination, and execution of parish communications across digital platforms. Tasks include managing and updating the parish website and social media channels, creating visual and written content to promote parish events and initiatives, and supporting ministries in their communication needs.
We also coordinate photography, design, and publicity efforts to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent messaging aligned with parish identity and pastoral priorities. Through regular content planning and collaboration with parish leadership and ministries, the Communications Ministry helps keep parishioners informed, engaged, and connected to the life of the Church.
