About Us
The Society of St. Vincent De Paul (SSVP) serves the poor and the less fortunate, regardless of race or religion, in the vicinity. Our society in St. Anne’s Church is currently assisting families living around the Sengkang area, which is within our Parish Boundary.
We take the time and effort to look after our “Friends In Need” (FINS). On the first Sunday of each month, we distribute food rations and provide monetary assistance for their financial, medical and educational needs. We also organise outings and Christmas parties for them.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include organising and participating in the monthly distribution of food rations, offering monetary assistance for financial, medical, and educational needs, and coordinating social activities such as outings and Christmas gatherings that foster community and joy for their FINs. Vincentians also collaborate with fellow members through regular meetings to discern needs, plan assistance efforts, and grow spiritually together as a community of service rooted in the Gospel.
Tasks & Practices
Our members meet twice a month in St. Anne’s Church. The first meeting is held every first Sunday of the month from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the second is every third Wednesday from 8 PM to 10 PM. All meetings will be held in Room #04-01.

The vocation of our society’s members, who are called Vincentians, is to follow Christ through the service to those in need and so bear witness to His compassionate and liberating love. This is known as The Vincentian Vocation. Our members show their commitment through person-to-person contact. Vincentians serve in hope.
"The man who is kind to the poor lends to Yahweh: he will repay him for what he has done."
