The Burning Bush Charismatic Prayer Group is a ministry in St. Anne’s Church that is part of the Singapore Archdiocesan Catholic Charismatic Renewal (SACCRE). This is the place to encounter the Living God. In the bible, the Burning Bush is also where God calls Moses to service — to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.
“Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian. Leading the flock across the desert, he came to Horeb, the mountain of God. There, an angel of the LORD appeared to him in fire flaming out of a bush. As he looked on, he was surprised to see that the bush, though on fire, was not consumed. So Moses decided, “I must go over to look at this remarkable sight, and see why the bush is not burned.”
When the LORD saw him coming over to look at it more closely, God called out to him from the bush, “Moses! Moses!”
He answered, “Here I am.”
God said, “Come no nearer! Remove the sandals from your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground. I am the God of your father,” he continued, “the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob.” – Exodus 3:1-6
Moses found God, who makes every impossible situation a possibility at the Burning Bush. When the mission seems difficult, God empowers and equips. Just like Moses, we envision The Burning Bush to be the place where many will find the Lord of possibilities. We hear the call to service at St. Anne’s Church, to bring the renewal of the Holy Spirit to our parish through The Burning Bush Charismatic Prayer Group.

We endeavour to burn like the Burning Bush, on fire but not consumed.
We want to be on fire for the Lord, empowered by the Holy Spirit and, in wisdom and discernment, exercise our charisms for His glory. At every Prayer Meeting, we worship — God is present in our midst, ever glorious in the praise of His people.
There, as the Burning Bush is on holy ground in the presence of God, the ground on which we stand and worship is also holy. We glorify Him and pray for everyone around us.
