Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary was founded in Dublin, Ireland, as a Roman Catholic Marian Movement by layman Frank Duff, 100 years ago
- It is a lay apostolic association of Catholics under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, Mediatrix of All Graces, to serve the Church in 170 countries, with more than 3 million members and auxiliary members.
- The objective of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active co-operation in Mary’s and the Church’s work.

Auxiliary members are our powerhouse. Whilst they do not attend our weekly meetings, they offer the Rosary and Prayers everyday so that the active legionaries can continue to do the works of God, through the intercession of Mother Mary.
