Parish Group Ministries

Group Ministries at the Parish are our rewards and it gives us a channel to share our gifts of “time and talent” for the good of others and not just in this community.

Our Ministries

Serving with Love and Dedication

"Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”"

Matthew 9:37-38

Liturgy & Faith Formation

Altar Servers

The Altar Server occupies a privileged place in the liturgical celebration. He who serves at Mass presents himself to a community.

Catechetical Ministry

The Catechetical Ministry provides ongoing faith formation for baptised children and teens — preparing them for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation.

Couple Empowerment Programme (CEP)

In the Couple Empowerment Programme, we dream of a world where married couples live a heroic love with Christ as their standard, raising their children to become fine men and women.

Couple Mentor Journey (CMJ)

The Couple Mentor Journey is an initiative designed to help couples dedicate more time to preparing for the real challenges of marriage by learning from the lived experience of their couple mentors.

Divine Mercy Devotion Prayer Group

Devotion to the Divine Mercy involves a total commitment to God as Mercy. It is a decision to place complete trust in Him, to accept His mercy with thanksgiving, and to be merciful as He is merciful.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC)

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, more commonly known as Communion Ministers, are appointed by the Parish Priest (Ordinary Ministers) and commissioned to assist them in distributing Holy Communion during the Liturgical Celebration.

Faith Community (Youth)

St. Anne’s Faith Community was founded in 2013 to retain and encourage post-confirmation youths to continue their faith journey with their graduating cohort.

Family Life Ministry

St. Anne’s Church’s Family Life Ministry (FLM) was formed in 2009, with initiatives including activities aimed at family bonding and play, education, and religion.

Legion of Mary

Founded in Dublin, Ireland by Iayman Frank Duff approximately 100 years ago, the Legion of Mary is a Roman Catholic Marian Movement — a lay apostolic association of Catholics under the powerful leadership of Mary Immaculate, Mediatrix of All Graces.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is not just a programme, it is a journey that one makes with the Catholic community in search of God. It is open both to Catholics and non-Catholics — and a good way to study/strengthen one’s faith.

St. Padre Pio Devotion

Please be informed that St. Padre Pio Devotion is no longer held on the 23rd of every month.

The Burning Bush Charismatic Prayer Group (TBB)

The Burning Bush Charismatic Prayer Group is a ministry in St. Anne’s Church that is part of the Singapore Archdiocesan Catholic Charismatic Renewal (SACCRE).

The Lectors Ministry

The Ministry of Lectors has a long history, dating back to 1963 with only a few members before being formally established in 2003 with the election of our first Ministry President (and the appointment of our first Spiritual Director).

Wardens

As Ministers of Hospitality, our mission is to serve the parish community through our various duties to enhance brotherly and sisterly love among its members and fellow Catholics.

Services & Communities

Art Ministry

We intend to bring the beauty of God’s message to the parishioners through visual communication. Today, with the aid of modern technology, these messages are brought across with greater ease.

Society of St. Vincent De Paul (SSVP)

The Society of St. Vincent De Paul (SSVP) serves the poor and the less fortunate, regardless of race or religion, in the vicinity.

St. Anne’s Church Choirs

Well aware that music, as part of the liturgy, is meant to play a role in the sanctification of the faithful as they lift their voices in worship of Go, the Choir Ministry works hard to ensure well-chosen musical selections and competent performances of the music chosen.

St. Anne’s Library – Emmanuel

Emmanuel Library was set up in 2006 and is currently located at the canteen level, next to the lift. It is a one-stop resource centre with a great variety of spiritual learning materials for individuals of all ages.

Tamil Ministry

St. Anne’s Tamil Christian Community (தூய அன்னாள் தமிழ் கிறிஸ்துவ குழுமம்) was established on 5 February 2017 with the holy Mass, by a group of Tamil-speaking Catholic families living in Sengkang, Punggol and Hougang.
