The Burning Bush Charismatic Prayer Group is a ministry in St. Anne\u2019s Church that is part of the Singapore Archdiocesan Catholic Charismatic Renewal (SACCRE). This is the place to encounter the Living God. In the bible, the Burning Bush is also where God calls Moses to service \u2014 to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.<\/p>\n
\u201cMoses was tending the flock of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian. Leading the flock across the desert, he came to Horeb, the mountain of God. There, an angel of the LORD appeared to him in fire flaming out of a bush. As he looked on, he was surprised to see that the bush, though on fire, was not consumed. So Moses decided, \u201cI must go over to look at this remarkable sight, and see why the bush is not burned.\u201d<\/p>\n
When the LORD saw him coming over to look at it more closely, God called out to him from the bush, \u201cMoses! Moses!\u201d<\/p>\n
He answered, \u201cHere I am.\u201d<\/p>\n
God said, \u201cCome no nearer! Remove the sandals from your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground. I am the God of your father,\u201d he continued, \u201cthe God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob.\u201d \u2013 Exodus 3:1-6<\/em><\/p>\n Moses found God, who makes every impossible situation a possibility at the Burning Bush. When the mission seems difficult, God empowers and equips. Just like Moses, we envision The Burning Bush to be the place where many will find the Lord of possibilities.
